General terms and conditions of business and important customer information

These general terms and conditions of business apply for all deliveries, services and offers originating from the company Hettich & Hettich GbR (referred to in the following as: Lichtkauf.com).

Lichtkauf.com is an approved Online-Shop and has obliged itself to comply with the requirements of the Trusted Shops (download under www.trustedshops.de)

The illustration of the product in the Online-Shop does not represent a legally binding offer, but an invitation to make an order. All offers are open „as long as it is available“, if nothing else has been indicated for the products. The right to make mistakes is retained.

Through clicking onto the button “Bestellung Senden (Send Order)” in the finalizing step of the ordering process you place a binding order for the goods contained in the shopping basket. The purchasing contract comes into being, once we confirm the acceptance of your order per email directly following receipt of your order.

4.1 Consumers (§ 13 BGB) have a legal right to cancellation of contract

Advice concerning the right to cancellation of contract:

You have the right to cancellation of your contractual declaration within two weeks without the need to give reasons in text form (for example a letter, facsimile or email) or through returning the goods. The deadline begins at the earliest upon receipt of this advice. Punctual dispatching of the cancellation of contract or return of goods is sufficient for safeguarding the cancellation deadline. Consequences of the right to cancellation:

In the case of an effective cancellation services received by both parties must be returned and if necessary and any incurred exploitation (for example interest payments) must be reimbursed. If you are incapable of returning the received service or only capable of partial return or only returning in a deteriorated condition, then you must insofar provide value replacement. This does not apply for the relinquishment of goods, if the deterioration of the goods can be attributed to the same form of examination - which would have been possible in a shop. Otherwise the value replacement can be avoided, if they are not taken into utilization as if they were own property and refrain from everything, which could possibly have an influence on their value. Package shipping capable goods must be returned. Goods which are not packaging shipping capable will be collected directly from you. You are responsible for payment of return shipping costs , if the delivered goods complied with those ordered and if the price of goods to be returned do not exceed a purchase price of Euro 40 or for a higher price for the goods you have not made a quid pro quo payment or a contractually agreed installment payment at the point in time of cancellation of contract. Otherwise the return shipment is free of charge for you. Obligations for repayment of payments must be complied with within 30 days following the posting of your declaration of cancellation.

5.1 The prices stated on the product pages contain the legal value added Taxes and other price components. A standard package will be shipped to you as of a goods value of Euro 100.00 free of charge* within the Federal Republic of Germany!

5.2 In addition to the stated prices we will calculate the delivery shipping costs according to the shipping costs list. You will again be comprehensively informed of the shipping costs on the product pages, in the shopping basket system and on the order page.

5.3 If payment is made Cash on Delivery then a surcharge of Euro 10.00 is due and payable.

6.1 Delivery will only be implemented within the European Union and Switzerland, please enquire about other areas. Our service partners are UPS or DHL.

6.2 The delivery time period is generally 3 working days. Possible delivery deviations are to be found on the appropriate product page.

7.1 Payment can either be made by advance payment, per cash on delivery (only inside Germany), credit card or PayPal.

7.2 We will inform you of our bank account for payments to be made as advance payment in the order confirmation and will deliver the goods after payment has been credited to the account.

7.3 The right to make counterbalancing is only authorized for you, if your counter claims have been legally binding or have been recognized by us in the written form.

7.4 Counterbalancing may only be implemented by you, in-so-far as any claims result from the same contractual relationship.

The goods remain our property until they have been paid for in full.

10. Selection of legal jurisdiction

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply for the legal relationship between the company Lichtkauf.com and the customer as well as the business relationship. The implementation of the UNH agreement covering contracts concerning international goods sales dated 11.04.1988 is climinated.

The exclusive place of legal jurisdiction is Cologne - Germany or a different legal place of legal jurisdiction according to the requirements of the company Lichtkauf.com, in-so-far as the customer is a business person in the sense of the Federal Republic of German commercial code or a public law corporation.

12.1 Order processing

Once you have found your required product you can place this unconditionally into the shopping basket by clicking the button “In den Warenkorb (Into the shopping basket)“. You can then unconditionally view the contents of your shopping basket by clicking the button “Warenkorb anzeigen (Display shopping basket)”. You can remove the products at any time by clicking the symbol “Papierkorb (Wastepaper basket)“.  If you wish to purchase the products stored in the shopping basket click onto the button “Zur Kasse gehen (Go to checkout)”.  Please then enter your data into the window that opens.  Obligatory information is flagged with a „*“. Registration is not necessary. Your data will be transferred in an encrypted form. Please check your data information again once you have entered it.  By clicking the button “Bestellung senden (send order)“  you finally complete the ordering process. The process can be ended at any time by simply closing the browser window. There is additional information for you on the individual pages, for example corrective measures. 

The contract text will be saved on our internal system. You can always view the general terms and conditions for business on this page. The order data and general terms and conditions for business will be sent to you per email. Once the order has been completed the contract text can no longer be accessed over the internet for reasons of security.

12.2 Data protection

We utilize the data communicated to us for implementation and processing of your order. A passing on of your data will only be made to the shipping company assigned with the delivery if this is necessary for delivering the goods (name, address, possible the telephone number for confirmation of the delivery deadline). If necessary we will also hand over your payment data to our house bank for the payment processing. Passing on of your data to third parties for the purposes of advertising utilization will not take place! Once the contract and complete purchase price payment have been completed your data will then be blocked for any further use and deleted once the tax and commercial legal regulations have expired.
